The Children's Arts
Project, Inc. use a wide-range of open-ended centers based on a theme to
give students opportunities for exploration and discovery. Basic concepts
and centers are explained, and the work of great artists are introduced.
Students (and their parents) explore a variety of activities designed to
build on the group discussion. Class ends with group sharing.
Jump Start Art
Simple hands-on activities include traditional art centers such as drawing,
painting and collage, mixed with activities incorporating books, music,
science, and dramatic play. 18-28 mo. with a grown up.
Mondays at CAP Cornelius or Tuesdays at CAP Davidson, 9:30-10:15.

Music & More
An interactive sing-a-long
using rhythm instruments, musical games, and creative dramatics to teach
basic musical concepts. 9:30-10:00 for children 12-28mo, 10:05-10:35 for
children 28mo-5yrs. Mondays at Cornelius Town Hall,

Drawing with Mixed
Media
Explore multiple drawing tools such as pencil, pastel and oil crayon
while improving your drawing technique.
