Children love to play...and educators have long recognized the arts as a powerful
teaching tool.
The Children's Arts
Project, inc. combines art and play in a dynamic line-up of exciting,
educational, and affordable programs.
Research supports the
positive social and academic benefits of experiencing the arts.
CAP uses creativity to
enrich, excite, inspire, develop, nourish, feed, stimulate, motivate, and "imaginate" children...and their parents.
So, why
should you enroll your child in CAP?
- Our
classes offer a wide variety of hands-on activities sure to appeal to
all learning styles.
- As
children of all ages create, they also build self-confidence, creative
problem solving, critical thinking, interpersonal, and academic skills.
- Our
schedules are flexible, with weekly and monthly classes...and
opportunities to make up classes missed due to illness or scheduling
conflicts.
- CAP is
economical. As a non-profit organization, we seek to make our classes
affordable for everyone. Discounts are offered to families registering
more than one child, or for more than one class. Full and partial
scholarships are also available for families needing assistance.
- Parents play for free! Our extensive toddler and
preschool line-up offers a unique opportunity for children and parents
to create art together. Parents are even welcome at our classes for
older kids.
Everyone deserves a chance to create and The Children's Arts
Project, inc. is committed to the belief that all people deserve the opportunity
for free and creative expression. |
